FITTER JOB


Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Fitter to work within our Drilling Workshop in Badentoy.
Role
To undertake the refurbishment, disassembly and building of equipment and pressure testing to satisfy the customer requirements observing product specifications, Quality, HS&E and all relevant industry standards as well as fault finding on subsea equipment.
Accountabilities
Carry out the assembly/refurbishment of components to the requirements stipulated on the route sheets.
Carry out pressure testing to the approved standards.
Prepare documentation in line with company legislation policies and procedures.
Maintain and be responsible for the housekeeping of the work area.
Responsible for ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner and in line with company health and safety guidelines/policies.
Carry out fault finding on subsea schematic drawings.
Carry out Third party toolbox talk.
Equipment/Machinery Operation
Hand tools, Pressure gauges, Air tools
Pressure pumps, Cranes/forklifts, Flushing units
Steam clean tools, Torque equipment, Microscope oil analysis equipment

Desired Skills & Experience

We are looking for people with specific experience with BOPs, annulars, risers, etc. We require an experienced mechanical fitter who has experence in pressure testing and the assembly and refurbishment of equipment.
