Eastern Railway Recruitment 2012 – 436 Act Apprentices Vacancies: Eastern Railway has issued notification against recruitment of 436 Act Apprentices in Eastern Railway, Kanchrapara Workshop and Sealdah Division under different trades. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 31-10-2012. Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 15 to 24 years i.e. the date of birth should be within 01-01-1989 to 01-01-1998. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% Marks and having ITI passed Certificate Affiliated to NCVT compulsory in relevant Trade.

Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay Rs. 40/- in the form of Crossed IPO in favour of FA & CAO, E.Rly, Kolkata payable to GPO/Kolkata. (SC/ST, PH Candidates are exempted from Payment Fee).

Selection Procedure: Short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of verification of Original testimonials and physical fitness Test.

How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with IPO and copies of all relevant certificates attested by Gazetted Officer, to the following address, “Workshop Personnel Officer, Eastern Railway, P.O. 1. Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: First Class M.Sc. (Physics) with good academic record, sound knowledge in physical sciences and motivation for research NET/GATE qualified candidates are preferred. Knowledge of computer programming skills desirable.

General: Age is inclusive of relaxation for SC/ST/OBC wherever applicable. Age will be reckoned as on 1st July 2012. Candidates are liable to be transferred to other Centres/ Field Stations of the institute. 

TME: Total Monthly Emoluments, reflects Pay+GP+DA (presently 65%). HRA, transport and other allowances. PB: Pay Band, GP: Grade Pay, EQ: Educational Qualifications,Exp.: Experience.
