Age Limit: Candidate should have minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 01-01-2013.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Matriculation with ITI from recognized institution in relevant trade for ITI holders & Matriculation with Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) License with experience for HVD trade for the post of ACT (Trainee). Matriculation with Diploma in Engineering from recognized institution in relevant trade for diploma holders for the Post of OCT (Trainee).

Application Fee: Candidate need to download the SBI Challan from the website. candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.150/- for ACT (Trainee) post and Rs.250/- for OCT (Trainee) post as application and processing fee for General and OBC candidates. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental candidates to possess Pay in Slip of Rs. 50/- only as processing fee in any branches of the SBI in a specially opened account No. 32549519300 at Sector -1 Branch, Bhilai, on behalf of BSP, SAIL.

Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in Written test/ Driving Test /Interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.sail.co.in from 15-02-2013 to 14-03-2013. After applying online, the candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details.

1. Candidates can log on to the website www.sail.co.in
2. Candidates should have a valid email Id. which should remain valid for at least one year.
3. Candidates should download the Challan from the website and pay the fee as mentioned above.
4. Enter the unique Journal Number and a Branch Code with the payment details in the online application.
5. Candidates should upload the scanned photo & signature in the application form.
6. After filling all the details in the application form Click on submit button.
7. After applying online, candidate should download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number.

Fitter - Drilling

Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Fitter to work within our Drilling Workshop in Badentoy.

Role
To undertake the refurbishment, disassembly and building of equipment and pressure testing to satisfy the customer requirements observing product specifications, Quality, HS&E and all relevant industry standards as well as fault finding on subsea equipment.

Accountabilities
Carry out the assembly/refurbishment of components to the requirements stipulated on the route sheets.
Carry out pressure testing to the approved standards.
Prepare documentation in line with company legislation policies and procedures.
Maintain and be responsible for the housekeeping of the work area.
Responsible for ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner and in line with company health and safety guidelines/policies.
Carry out fault finding on subsea schematic drawings.
Carry out Third party toolbox talk.

Equipment/Machinery Operation
Hand tools, Pressure gauges, Air tools
Pressure pumps, Cranes/forklifts, Flushing units
Steam clean tools, Torque equipment, Microscope oil analysis equipment
